No I can go send the moderator a request to start one. It will end in September for I and husband will be having surgery the like August 7th. I really want to make him a lap quilt for the hospital and my myself if I just can get the time. There's so much on my plate already don't know if it will even get started.

Hi Sandra -- I received my squares yesterday...oh they are so cute! Gotta get busy....so many quilts to make! Thanks again for putting this swap together. Have you thought about the 5" batik swap?

I would be in for another square swap if it is kid's fabrics.

Owlvamp, I am sorry to hear about the upcoming surgeries in August. That IS a pretty good excuse not to have a swap that month, LOL! I hope and pray all goes well.

Stitch124 yes I have thought about the batiks 5 inch swap and yes I would be willing to host it. I just don't have any batiks yet. My little stash lacks from solids, blenders, batiks. I need to get some but need to wait for some funds. I do need to go get a couple things for a quilt so I will look at the batiks and see how I would do the swap. Any ideas of how many baggies you all would want to swap? Would we do it just like the I spy swap and 6 sets with 20 in each Baggie? Give me some ideas and can draw up the rules for it and see what I can come up with.

Recieved my squares today........and I just have to say something.............I received 12 blocks out of my 6 sets that I would not consider I spy squares.......charm squares yes but not I spy squares..........I would not even know what to say to a child as to what I want them to find.........Ok so I am being the bad guy here..........but I just think it needs to be said..........otherwise........I got lots of perfect squares.

Can't wait till the next swap...........

Sorry..........it must be the heat.........and the lack of thyroid hormones but I just thought it must be said.................normally I would let it slide......but this time I got 12 instead of 3or 4............

Sandra........thanks for all you do............and good luck with the surgery........I know how much surgery can take out on you..................

Just a thought here............is it possible to include in the the next swap that if the blocks sent are not considered I spy squares they will be returned to the sender and not exchanged.
