Ok. I think we will keep it as is. I will talk more with Owlvamp and maybe just do a different swap for the winter/snow charm swap. We could run them at the same time. That way if anyone wanted to do both, they could do so and only pay postage once. Someone had just made a suggestion so I thought I would run it by all of you to see what each of you thought would be best. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. I am still new at this. Thanks for such a prompt reply.

I think it's too late in the year to do Christmas... for this year anyway. By the time we got the squares it would be too late.

Any idea when we will be receiving our Oct. swap squares?

Working on them now. I posted a fuller answer on the other post to your question. Thanks

Ok. As for the Christmas/snow swap, this is what I have decided to do. We will have a side swap. If you want to do the Christmas/snow swap, it will be 10 different fabrics per set. I will swap these baggie for baggie so please only put one of each print per set. You may swap up to 6 sets. You can join either one or both the, I Spy swap and the side swap. By doing it this way, if anyone wants to do both they can and only pay postage once. If enough people want to do the side swap we will, if not we won't. I will do which ever everybody wants.

Once again, I'm sorry for any confusion I may have caused.

Is it okay if there are one or two squares that are Christmas themed in the regular swap?

Sounds like a great compromise! I will likely do both; am waiting to send a PM until I actually have fabric. Am hoping to be able to go to the store next week--just waiting for the little one to have a good day.

So for the side swap, we put 10 different fabrics in each bag. Can we repeat the same fabrics in all the sets? One per set, but the same fabrics in each set?

I'm putting together a "matching game" I Spy quilt today. I didn't have enough to do a full I Spy, so I doubled up and made it a "Find the Match" quilt.

Yes you put 10 different fabrics in each bag and all sets can be the same. So if you cut 6 each of 10 fabrics, you can make 6 sets. I will be trading these out baggie for baggie.
