Here is Carrie's top - it will go in the mail later this week.
Carrie, I used washable school glue, and there is some residue showing, it will fully wash out, so don't worry about it. I decided to swap two corners.
I also did not trim out the fabric behind the dresden plates. If you want to add another border, I'd suggest leaving it until everything is complete, and then trimming it out to reduce bulk before it's quilted. I used lightweight muslin for some areas behind the plates instead of piecing, so it's not super bulky if you decided to leave it.

I have worked all weekend on Monohon's top. The note on what she wants makes so much more sense to me now. I am incorporating everything her granddaughter loves in my border. Thought about a sneak peek, then decided against it. Hoping it is done by next weekend.

Okay.. I am a bit confused. Carrie's top is the only one I have not received but I see Macybaby just finished with it. Did I miss something? Does it go from Macybaby to Jacquie, then to me?
