Sharon Anne, how sad. I hope they find their way and even without becoming their caretaker, I know you will do what you can to help them become self-sufficient. I've always thought you had such a kind and warm face, so I think I know why it was your door that poor young man knocked on.

SharonAnne, so sorry for the ill fates to be shining on you recently. 2013 really can be a better year - for all of us. And yes, I do believe in the theory of the threes - but then again, I believe in some voodoo as well (being from New Orleans, that's not surprising!)
Have a wonderful and prosperous 2013 everyone - eat your beans and bring in lots of money! (Use beano for the gas)

No beans! Eat herring if you want luck in the New Year!

Does anyone want/like a "themed" kind of SP gift for January? I am
talking about something themes such as "snowflakes" snowmen" "icicles"
etc...

Just trying to get ideas of things to send in the package when I get my name.

Now onto something else...................

On this cold day in the mountains; thought I would share a picture of
Shadow Mountain Lake (iced over of course), and than I am going to
warm you up with a nice toasty fire.

The chair I am sitting in is 5 feet from the fireplace and it feels so good.

ENJOY!!!!!

Louise, reminds me tooooo much of what it was like when we lived in colorado Springs. The back of our house faced onto the 15th fairway of a golf course, so where your lake is our open space was - in the winter very much alike - from inside the warm house. I'm glad we're in Tennessee now - cold days, but nothing like you're experiencing (4 degrees, brr, brr)

Anything is fine for me seeing neither of my December packages arrived. I did hear from one SP a couple of days ago however and she says she'll be able to post soon.

Have a great Hogmanay everyone! Here's hoping 2013 brings you everything you need and some of the things you want.
