I don't think id mind felt, it could be just as usable in felt as in fabric, just my opinion

I actually like working with felt, I can get it to do a lot of cool things. I have made a mushroom with embroidery, a camper, a large round with flowers. I will have to post some photos later. But the rules state it must be 100% cotton, and felt or wool can be used in needle cases. Either way I love making them and participating in this awesome swap!!! YAY for queenof2802, and all the hard work she does!

I too am enjoying this swap. Didn't think I would fall for these little "bugger" like I have, but I am hooked. You girls make it so easy! Thanks IrelandDragonQuilting

Not too long ago I had no clue what I needlecase was!! Now I love my collection! I scaled back this month to 1 of each, because I will be having grandbabies in and out thru the summer...They love to stay at "nanny's" when they are out of school...With 14 grandchildren, my house stays pretty full in the summer!

You guys are too sweet. Thank you

I took my resume to the church office today. The current secretary told me she was glad that I had experience already. She knows that it will take a while to train but it would be best if it wasn't someone with no experience. We shall see what happens next. I am praying and everything that I can cross is crossed. I am supposed to hear back from Michaels on Thursday if I passed my background check and what my start date will be. I have to get a sample of my paper crafts together to let the manager see my work. I really don't want to do both but my budget is not allowing me to participate and craft like I used to.

I will NOT be joining in for July.

Dad had a heart attack yesterday, and has decided to NOT receive
medical help. Which means he is now in the care of hospice.

I have always heard from my friends that their parents/grandparents
often times would pass about 6 months (sometime longer) after the
death of their spouse.

But in my dads case after about 6 weeks he has decided to "give up"
his fight so he can go be with his "Annie". We all respect his DNR and
living will wishes though it is not easy facing the fact that I will be losing
my only remaining parent.
