I got one a couple of weeks ago.. I'm not sure it was worth the expense.. Or was I just too lazy to cut.. I bought the 2.5" die, and 2.5" strips.. Let me know your thoughts after you use it..

I remember you told me this and that's why I'm worried. I'm not afraid to cut them myself. It just takes ALOT of my time. So, when I saw this sale I decided to take the plunge. If I hate it I suppose I can let one of my daughters try it.

I was thinking that it wasn't worth the expense because I like to make scrap quilts. I finished four scrap quilts for my staff and didn't have the need to cut perfect pieces. I made a string quilt for my mom, and used the 2.5" strips for the binding.. I am now working on an applique story quilt for a guy that I've worked with for the past 36 years. I would love to share the pictures, but for some reason, I can't post pictures on the board. I am able to email them, but I've tried a couple of times to post, and it just isn't happening.. I am one of those people that makes my own patterns, and not use other's designs..

Awawwww!! I want to see your quilts, barri! I have to email mine to myself. My phone makes me resize them. I pick small or medium. When I get them in my email I save them to my phone again and use that one to post to QB.

Sheri,
I can email them to you.. I am very proud of how they came out. It makes me smile when I look at mine. It's such a happy quilt.. I'm sure my girls love them.. I backed them with flannel. BOB is in the starting phase.. I am making the background. It's the sky, ocean, beach, sun, and a tree.. I'm finding all kinds of things to add to it like lady bugs, and birds.. It will also have sharks in the water, as he is a parrothead.. Would love to put a volcano in somewhere, but we don't have any in NY.
