Hi Bonnie, I just read the rules and I have fabric given to me from a group I belong to in NC and is already candy size. I don't know it it's been washed or not. I also have containers of fabric cut into 2.5" squares and don't remember if they've been washed or not..I would hate not to be able to use them..Most of which are die cut. Please advise.

I'm glad to be part of this swap..I love making 9 patch squares.

Honchey, did you read all of the first post? It contains all the rules and pertinent info, including prewash or not info... hate to send you back there but every person in this swap is required to read that whole long post.

I was working on blocks in between some other commitments and had them ready to go. But I see the rules changed. Before I commit ( didn't use creams/wow, lol), let me revamp since you would like 10 dif blocks per bag. I know its easier, no problems. Will let you know by Monday.

Isn’t that the truth! Everyone wants to do their best work for others and I see people learning new skills and techniques all the time. Happens all the time in the Booms.

One thing about swaps: They always make me a better seamstress.

Hi GR... if you made 10 of each, just do ten bags and redistribute them, one per bag. There's still a ton of time before you have to have them ready for mailing.

Thanks SBG, I never thought to measure the middle! Another thought. when making blocks to swap, I try to make an extra for myself. In this case I will be sending 100 9-patches and keeping the same for myself.

200 blocks! That's the makings of a nice sized quilt! How do you plan to set yours? I'm going to simply sew mine together with no settings. Some of us are using them to make the Sister's Choice blocks (stars with 9P centers), and some are using alternate blocks for settings. Can't wait til we start seeing some of the finished quilts from this.

Here are a few more I made last night. Got on a roll and was still sewing at 1:30 am!

We are spending 10 at the beach and it just happends to coinside with a Vintage Trailer Rally. It’s been fun watching them set up these cute little old trailers. Over 300 will be here by tomorrow. Here’s a few pics.

Of corse I’ll be making some 9P as well. I love to sew at the beach.
