SBG! That is cute! Bright and cheerful. Did you add 3 rows both vertically and horizontally to keep it square? Are you going to keep it?

Thanks... only added 3 rows on one side, so it's double bed size now, about 62"x80". Yes, I'm planning to keep it... but the other one I make with the rest of the blocks will probably be donated.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

SBG, your quilt is lovely! I like it without sashing or alternate blocks. Thanks for the inspiration.

Bonnie Hunter's blog today was about 9 patches. http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2018/...lter.html#more

I love following what you all have done with yours.

Thanks~! The quilt they made with their 9Ps is a great example of something you can do with the scrappy and white 9Ps... only on a larger scale.

I went on a shop hop bus trip last week and bought fabric for my alternate blocks. I washed the fabric yesterday and later this week will cut out my blocks and start working seriously on this project. I plan to make a king size quilt with the blocks. I'll post pics when I'm done with the top.

Can't wait to see your pictures!

Anyone else got a top together yet?

happylab, Great! I'll watch the thread to see when you come back to post a picture of what you are doing. No pressure. lol It's so nice to see what setting everyone uses, and I hope the others all show what they are doing also. Mine is still in three columns, waiting for cooler weather for sandwiching a quilting. My second set of blocks are on the back burner while I'm working on a different quilt top.

I have been super busy this past month and have not been on here much. I have not seen a new 9 Patch sign up for the whites and scrappy 9 patches. Did I miss it?

I've been finishing a few UFOs and learning to machine embroidery. I've taken a few Kimberbell classes and boy are those designs super cute. I plan on working on my 9P quilt next. Still can't decide how I'm going to lay it out. Currently, they are all up on my design wall and that looks pretty cool.
