For my darling SP, well I just finished one of the items I am making for you, don't worry I am also including the pattern, it was free off a website. Have to say, while I was making it, I almost cried cause it just was not looking like the picture and I only have this little bit of fabric left that has your favorite colors in it, I tore it all out and redid it again and again, well finally as I finished it, it is kinda cute! I sure hope you like it, I sure did work hard on it. Now I checked on the special item I ordered for you, and still waiting for them to ship it. Now for another hint. When I drove over the road, the company I worked for has a terminal for their truck driver's in the major city that you live close by.

I "tea dyed" my wedding dress, it turned out exactly how I envisioned it! I love dyeing with natural things, we dyed some muslin with berries and it really turned out beautiful, Beets work nice and bark from walnut shells, not sure if that is what it is called but it is not the shell but the stuff around the outside of shell. Just remember to wear gloves as you can "dye" your hands if not careful~ would love to see your doilies, pictures??

Some of them are stained and some aren't as white as others, etc. so I decided to tea dye some of them...have heard about it being done but never tried it before. Definitely makes them look more vintage and more like they "belong" together

Please don't give them any ideas. I could just envision these two with their fishing poles and the olives on the hook not to mention the vodka with olives as well lol!
