sorry, no pattern. i made it up. it's not difficult, but it's harder to explain. i measured the girth of the cup, created a fish that long, made fins and tails and inserted them. left an opening at the bottom which becomes the tab that connects to the mug rug. quilted in a sort of scale pattern. sewed 3 buttons on each side for eyes, tacked the corners of the mouth. attached fish to mug rug , first by belly tab, and then sewed the reverse of mug rug and batting, folding the fish so it doesn't get caught, turned right side out. sewed a spiral to quilt. hand tacked head and tail in place to fit mug, and left room for the handle between head and tail. that's the readers digest version. i'm glad you like it. i love being outside the box!
