What do you send to someone in Ireland in the month of March?! I didn't want to take the lazy way out and do something with shamrocks or leprechauns, so I've been looking for inspiration high and low - and I think I've found it. Finally. Now to check out my stash and see if I need to make a quick trip to a LQS - need to get moving, this little DQ will have to swim the Atlantic to get home!

I was wondering if you are in a different country and have a different season then our spring here in America, would you then make a dq with those colors or ???????? or does it even matter? I was thinking because I will be in Australia and it will be fall there. So fall colors would be the in thing. Although I do love the spring colors here. Hmmmmmmmmm have to think about this.

I guess you'll have to ask your pal! Unless both of you are in Australia at the same time!

    Chele that is so sweet!
Speaking of monkeys, I ordered several sock monkey prints months ago to make a quilt for my son. Well, time passed and now it will be a wedding quilt! Still sitting and staring at the fabric wondering what to do with it! If I wait much longer it will be a baby quilt! LOL!

Guess what the post office delivered today? The very first doll quilt made by Jaunty Melissa - and it's all mine!
While the picture was taken on my board, I chose to hang it from the point with the green and pink strips at the bottom. Man it looks good on my wall! Thanks so much JM...yours is on the way.

Jaunty Melissa, super cute. Love the versatility on being able to hang it in different ways. Pretty Batiks.

I love the play on "Monkey in the Middle". It is super adorable.

I love the themes for the next two months. Of course they are always optional, but I think it will be fun to try them. We have such a creative group.

Finished up my DQ for Tildiemae, will ship out on Monday, I hope she likes it!
So many lovelies coming in, I admire everyones creativity and sense of style!
My label went to war with the lite steam a seam sometime during the night and it looks like a glue bath on the back of the quilt where I attached the label. I do not have any of the adhesive iron cleaner (that will change right quick!!! ) Any suggestions??? If not, thought I might heat 'er up again and turn my DG loose with some glitter... only kidding tildiemae
. I never could handle anything with glue or sticky stuff, even ate the paste in kindergarten. This is another valid argument to buying a embroidery machine don't you think???
