Krystyna is talking about using a quilting thread that is in contrast to the fabrics used in the top. i.e., dark blue thread on an pale blue and yellow top, or red thread on black and white top.

Since we are going with Spring colors for April I will have to put on my thinking cap and start shopping my stash - fun, fun but only after I finish my March one.

I know I suggested the two-color theme for the April - but does two-color mean you can use multiple shades of the same color? Think tone-on-tone or batiks

OK. Should we allow three colors? I am going to have a horrible time with this myself since I've got tons of prints.

Remember that the Theme has always been optional. I think if you have a print that you want to use then you just choose one other color to compliment it. We did say two colors not two fabrics.

Interestingly, someone just posted a link to a spring color pallet! http://en.paperblog.com/spring-2012-...watches-64273/
OK. Two colors. You decide what that means. But that's April. We have even done March yet!
