Sorry for being out of touch yesterday, started off the day with a migraine aura and it went downhill from there. Better today though. The pain meds the doc gave me don't work very well on the joint pain (why he prescribed them), but they do seem to work better on migraines. Go figure.

I would agree we have a great bunch on this thread, and getting together would be a lot of fun. Love the needlecase, it is pink in real life? All the extra goodies are fun too. lynnie I checked tracking on your shipment it shows as delivered on Friday.

Happy Mother's Day everyone. Mary what a cute pocketbook needlecase and love the sewing machine windchime. Lots of goodies too. I got a daisy bouquet in a vase and all 9 of us went to eat breakfast at the Golden Corral. Great food there. They even have steak and individually made omelets. Too full when I left there. This is a great bunch.

the inside is adorable too.
thanks Lauriejo for checking for me. At least i know she rec'd. it, so i can stop worrying. Hope she liked it.
Went to a big breakfast at the clubhouse here in the condo. all sorts of breakfast stuff. came home and went to see my mom. gave her a lime cake i made her. she gave me a plant. my son and i went up to the harbor on the north side of the island. Parking was heck. we walked around got seafood and stopped for sushi on the way home. just dropped him off a bit ago, and now i'm hurting, so i'm going to take a rest.

Lauriejo, i used to take Relpax for my migranes. over here it's $366/month for 6 pills. they worked great, but i always ran out of pills by the 7th of the month. he put me on Elevil. 2 25 mgs. at night. i sleep better and in the year and a hlf i've been on it, only had one migraine. suggest that to your doc. and it's dirt cheap too. about $9/month without insurance!!!

oops posted the purse picture before I finished it. Here is how Peg received it and also a picture of the freshly cut flowers my great grandson and great granddaughter picked for me and a bird suet heart feeder they made for me for mother's day. I love home made from the heart.I know some of the flowers look ruff, but they were brought here by a 6yr old boy and a 4 yr old girl. lol Made my day.

It sounds like everyone had a nice day so far. A lot of good food and good times. Mary, the flowers from your great grandkids are beautiful! I'm sure they were so proud to give them to you and you made a big fuss over them.
