May 2016 Mug Rug Swap -- Things With Wings
#162
Check out this great mug rug from ckcowl. It's been in use since I received it. Its generous size is very handy for using while eating my breakfast (CEREAL and coffee) each morning when I go over my email. I love the colors. Thnk you very much, Colleen.

I love the pieced Bee Mug Rug, they are all lovely. Isn't it exciting waiting for the photos to be posted. These swaps sure add a lot of interest to the board and isn't it nice to send to partners who appreciate your time and effort in making these projects. I love having to think of what you are going to make as I may have not ever made what I have if it wasn't for these swaps. I love them!

I agree with you, Betty J. I find that I'm stretching in my own creativity. Sometimes these themes take me out of my comfort zone, as I try -- not necessarily new techniques -- but a new way of looking at an old subject, or attempting a shape I've never considered in the past. I've been quilting for more than 3 decades (yikes! that makes me sound old!), but I'm still learning new things! Isn't life (& quilting) grand!
I hope everyone is having a blast with Things With Wings. Soon I will be posting the June theme!
