I am putting my hat in - I have been sitting on the fence since I don't always have a mailing address. Then I thought - I can always have them sent to my mother so she can enjoy it!! So here goes - I love looking at all the fun postcards all have made and can't wait to attempt my first one!

Since I am "on the road" I pulled out some fabric and started hand sewing the top. A few stiches at a time. My mind is spinning so this is relaxing. Tomorrow we visit Monticello. wahoo

    I'm in for May!

Are these not 'wacky' enough? May 14 - Mother's Day and May 28 - Memorial Day.

This looks like fun...but can't find the time...maybe another month...I'm in the middle of designing baby quilts for our new twin Grandsons...I may have to include a bat in each one as 4-17 is their birthday

nah, I probably won't do that one, just love to contemplate how in the heck a day came to be named for a lumpy rug!

This is addicting. I went and got the interfacing and got my May postcard completed except for edging - and that will have to wait until I can get machine out. Okay - gotta admit - I got my ideas for the June swap!!

I got my April postcard out Tuesday, which is later than usual for me. So, to make up for it, May's postcard is completed, I'm just waiting for Saturday for my partner assignment Well, I guess the Monday after, since our post office is closed on weekends...

I've finally worked out the issues on my sewing machine (just could not get the tension correct), so finally able to use that, which helps make the cards go a bit faster.
