I found a pic on the internet images and made it into an applique
It was from a childrens coloring page. Easy way to find applique blocks.

Michelle -- please don't feel the need to send something extra. I'm happy the "suprises" are going to be loved at your house instead of collecting dust at mine!! =)

Was pleasantly surprised to open the mailbox tonight after work and found your block +! I will take a photo and post so everyone can see tomorrow --also will be getting your block out in the mail tomorrow I hope. Had my folks' 70th Wedding Anniversary plus full work weeks this past month so got behind. I'll let you know definitely tomorrow night if I made it to the post office. I like the fabric choices in this block you made --definitely reminds me of beach trips along 101 Scenic Route!

hi, i have a request to make... who ever is kindly making a block and sending to me, would it be ok to ask for a postcard from you also??? here's why...

I have a collection of postcards, cards etc from previous swaps, from a different forum, and have also collected all sorts of things including envelopes, notes, letters about the 'swapper' & stamps from abroad. I take a photo of the blocks etc and paste these into the scrap book also.
i think it's lovely way of getting to know the person you're swapping with, and also a reminder of where the block came from. (also for future generations, as i think each quilt has a story and a future history!)

thanks sew much, i would looooove and appreciate it!
    love jacquie xxxx

The rule is to swap one block with your partner of the month. However, if you and your partner would like to swap more, you can agree to that between yourselves. Many do.

Or sometimes, you send two because you just can't decide what block to do so you end up doing two  , but only expect one from you partner. The "extra" is just a friendly bonus!
