This is how I grew up and it went.

All the weddings my kids have been in unfortunately they were in many because they had lots of friends they paid for there own outfits. You can find out if you can get the fabric and make the sash sometimes they will let you get thru the place the gowns are from.

My son is getting married and the book says parents of groom pay for flowers, reherasl dinner and what ever they want. The Brides parents pay for rest, the Bride asks her friends to be in the wedding party, knowing they will be paying for the dress ect. If they can't afford it,they say no. But now aday it can be anything goes,i guess everyone should agree before hand. But who does that.

Oh my goodness- the mailman had two heavy envelopes waiting for me :!: :!: :!:

One is from Carsey with three blocks- cars, boots and princess. Very cute- thank you

The second is full of pinwheel blocks from dotcomdtcm- all 8 of them- 2 for each of the four quilts :!: :!: :!: How very generous of you THANK YOU :!: :!: :!:

I am working on finishing your blocks tonight and tomorrow. They will be out by the end of the week. I know I am cutting it close. Thanks for understanding.

Off to get some more sewing done

LOL
Oh No. I was hoping you weren't in the area that had some flooding going on. Hope all is going well with you, and yes, rain, rain go away. They said on the news that since the water year began which is October, we have had 96% of our normal rain fall. In Salt Lake they have had over 15" of water since October. That is crazy.
NM could use some of that rain. Here in ABQ we are the driest in almost a century.
