MadeinMaine, I had a practice session with what I want to do for your block this past weekend. I am hoping to get it completed by next weekend so I can send it out beginning of next week.

you can choose a "theme" which means that you can ask for certain colors, block style, so that when you collect enough blocks through the year you can put them together and make a quilt and there will be a matching theme. Like black & white with accent color. people will then make you a block with those colors using any pattern they want, some people applique stuff on or put beads or paint, or just traditional, paper pieced. Some people's theme might be teddy bears, or flowers. You get the idea?
If you go to the lst page of this thread you will find a link with everyone's theme. hope that helped. Clear as mud!!lol

Hey everyone-I have a question! I am new to this swap and notice that several people are getting/sending two blocks. When we get our assignments and there is more than one theme listed are we supposed to make a block for each theme? Or are we supposed to select which theme we would like to make a block for? Thanks for your help!
