I like the black stripes on them. I want to keep some kind of consistency on the blocks to keep the quilt consistent.
Anyway. Sorry to ramble on .
They will be in the mail tomorrow. I think I have your address from another pm. Maybe I better have it again.

Welcome to our family. Hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us. We do more than swap blocks too. We are like a family all over the nation and care for each other and hep when we can.
Can't wait to find out what your theme is. I try to always send something to our newbies.....
Welcome

It is me. It seems that it is a likeable pattern and theme and our family of swappers seem to like it alot. That is awesome. The lanterns I made for Toriabelle was showing the group about the black areas on how I would like my laterns, it can be a patterned black, blenders etc, but I want to keep the black consistent in the pattern as I have a'Vison" for my quilt and black is one of the driving forces.
OK, there's the lowdown.....LOL
thanks for asking.

I am the lantern Man, some in the group saw the pattern and really like it. That's awesom, can't wait to see everyones lanterns. I like the black on mine as in the pattern and the small 1 in stripes, or the 1" stripes in a dark contrasting shade with the middle bar. I know this is clearer than a buttonhook in wellwater. LOL

Here is polka dot charity quilt #3. Thanks to paintmejudy, missgigglewings, abonda and burnsk. #4 will have to wait for awhile. I need to get backing and quilt these three.

Onward.......Here are the blocks for my fall theme. Question....What color sashing and border do you think I should use. There is lots of oranges in them but would more orange be too much? Any suggestions?

Hmm - good question. You have a lot of colors there. I would use a dark brown for one of your choices or maybe for just a narrow inside border to frame. Don't know what to suggest for sashing or for bigger border. They are gorgeous blocks. What is the least dominant color? Orange, to me, is like red - hard to match. I see a smattering of green in there. That is a toughie. Wish I were better at making those decisions. I think that's why I have so many unfinished tops.
