Whigrose,
Here are your blocks, I hope you like them.
It's been along time since I made a log cabin.

Doe, I mailed yours today. I am still waiting on my Feb. block from Nancy in Louisiana. I am looking forward to see what you make.

rfbrazell was my March swap partner. He requested the Crown of Thorns block pattern at http://quilting.about.com/od/blockof...own_thorns.htm for a special Easter project he is doing for his church. There is a specific color scheme for this project.

With all that said Robert, I hope these two blocks fit your bill. And, they will be going out in Thursday's mail :-)

And although it doesn't show very well in the photo, there is a dark purple.

best,
d

My camara has finally given up the ghost...so no pictures for awhile. ...Just wanted to let you know that I got a gorgeous Chistmas block from atpegsquiltstudio...my Feb partner, and another equally beautiful block from ssnare! Love them both and they were the last two I needed in this theme. I am now working on collecting red and purple blocks...as in The Red Hat Ladies! Should be fun!
