OMG, Brat.. I love it. Now you do know, ya'all have the whole month to do the blocks...LOLO You can send your LOVELY weather down to me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE snow and winter. Always have, guess I always will, regardless of age. Just be careful if you have to get out.

I'm having a bunch of 'old hands' rejoin, have managed to pair some up already. Thanks for your help..

Have a great day, enjoy the 'stuff' for me..

its not lovely weather btw. dh slid off the highway last night twice, ended up calling a tow truck to bring him home he was too uncomfortable (ok scared) to finish the drive. too many cars were sliding off the highway. ten minutes from home he got here 1.5 hours after work so not a picnic. he was shoveling all the walkways this morning. and he was not smiling at me.

I'm catching up with my reading and just saw Roberto's post about our being partnered. He said he thinks it's amazing I'm a retired fire chief and I think it is amazing that he has turned his time into being a fabric artist! Yes, I have looked at some of his older posts, Terriamn told me he is an embroidery expert. I feel super lucky to have been paired with Roberto, we've exchanged emails and I am super excited about swapping with him.

Brat, careful on the roads. People in our area forget how to drive in the snow from year to year and we always have a ton of fender benders with the first snow. I didn't know Cody got a lot of snow and so early. Maybe I feel luckier to live in cold, dreary mid-Michigan now. I don't mind the snow too much, it would just be wonderful if it didn't snow on the roads, driveways and sidewalks! Think the Lord would take a suggestion?

Had planned on making my blocks today ( partner and I are exchanging two blocks) but had terrible sinus headache, after . Wonderful time of year for allergies that always lead to sinus infections for me. Finally feel better, maybe I can get at least one block started

Glad everyone is making connections with partners. I've had quite a few ladies that missed sign up time - got them partnered up.

We've had a few members starting this month too. I paired them with 'already' members. Elisabrat, Groovy Pieces, Kathy Phillips, letsquilt, MandaLynn, Retired Fire Chief, Sewing60, Sunrise450, Terriamn, The MamaHauser, and Wanabquilter Our newest member is Chickadeee55 (Marilynn) She's been in several swaps on the board, just not this one.. I partnered her with Nattoddboyd in Australia - so everyone is fixed up,
so far..lol That makes 13 new ones - isn't that great? Cool beans.... IF I've missed anyone, don't hesitate to let me know...

I'm so glad to see most everyone has re-joined, this IS such a fun group. I hope all enjoys it. I hope all that are having health problems, get to feeling better very soon.

Sew Hugs

I have finished Groovy's block. Will entrust it to the US Postal Service tomorrow.
Happy to see new people joining--- they'll be glad they did. : )
