My dog Oskar was a skunk lover. He loved to sniff their rears. and would come running in with the oil on his face..omg it was like a chemical warfare smell in the house.. horror of all horrors. NO shampoo worked from the pet store, no amount of tomato soup, nothing worked but a whole lot of baths. and time.. and prayers for NO RAIN while he still smelled or it was like getting fresh spayed all over again. Dawn seems to get the oil from oil spills of ducks so maybe it will work on skunks. sure as heck worth trying. and buy lots of everything. maybe you have a skunk lover too! (YIKES times two!)

I finished my block today and will make another one on Friday to go with it.. I am unsure which fabric is the better choice so might as well make one of each and dotty thank you! I will gladly take your unused Christmas block.. what a wonderful surprise! oh and fall garlands might decorate my Waldo just nicely.. Waldo the jackalope is sans fall décor at the moment. I promisd the dh when he gifted him to me for my birthday well he was going to be decorated if he had to hang in my livingroom.. and I will keep up the decorating. if you have decorations that might work on Waldo please feel free to send them. He has those marvelous antelors and a small neck and a small spot between the antlers available for holiday décor. The more over the top the better he has a lot of holidays to plan for. busy busy .. rabbit.

Ugh, there is nothing worse than skunk smell. I'll take horse manure, dog poo and just about anything over skunk stink.

Oh man, me too. I cleaned the bathroom today, had to laff, there was tomato juice splattered everywhere...LOLO.. in hidden areas. Think I finally got it all. Of course it didn't help that she kept shaking her head!! I'm 5' and I found mater spots way up on the tile..lol Thot I'd rinsed everything down the other nite.. I'm sure the hydrogen peroxide & Dawn would be much easier to clean up..lol She's doing fine now - after dark I do check the yard before letting her out tho.

I finished a block for my partner only to realize I go two of my swaps mixed up. I did a vintage fabric style block and its my wall hanging partner who wanted vintage and my partner here wanted more reds/whites/greens snowmen santas.. what was I thinking??? so she will get both lol .. darn it. This is where I should write things down. How brat like of me to mix things up I always mix things up!!!

Today is such a beautiful day and its MINE ALL MINE no clinic, no runs to the market nothing just sitting at the dinner table sewing. How much better than that could it go?? I was sitting here thinking of all things.. of candy. I love licorice jelly bellies.... why did that come to mind I am not hungry in want of one.. but I think its one of the less loved candies. What is your favorite? Like as a kid we had boxes of ribbon candy all the time at Christmas but now as an adult short of enjoying how pretty they look I doubt I would even be tempted to eat any of those. blick all big and sticky and hard and lol... sure are pretty though.

I was always a black licorice lover. I love those little black jelly beans. I would pick them out, and no one else wanted them. I grew up in Chicago, and ate just about every color licorice there was. Now in Tennessee I mostly see the red, and some black. Didn't mean to go on, but it brought back memories of a time long gone.

I received a very cute block today from Inspectorcmm (Sharon). I LOVE it, and yes, I do like applique. You did a very nice job on it, and you should be proud of it. I love Snowmen. Thanks soo much. Yours is ready to go too.

**Well pic doesn't show the full tree, it's like a big cedar tree, everything is appliqued.
