Hey NY Diva and Lynne,
Thank you for the great package I got. Dot, Cathy said thank you for the blueberry Honey and all the goodies. I had some on my French toast, and Lynne thank you for the awesome Fabric Pear Pin cushion. Thank you.
I am just like a little kid when packages come in the mail. I can't wait to open them.
Love you Sis,
Hugs
Roberto

Oksewnsew - I braved the frigid wind, loaded the puppies in the puppy mobile and mailed your package today. It's been in the single digits all day, with very strong winds and snow flurries, the horses were more than ready to get in the barn early this afternoon. Even though it was so terribly cold it felt good to get to the post office and sending off my partners blocks. I sure hope you like them, they aren't perfect but I think they are pretty darn cute!

Robert it's good to see your cheeriness on the screen, you sound in good spirits. Glad to hear you've warmed up to over 30, they are predicting it may get to 30 here the middle of next week - wow, maybe I can shed the long johns for a day!

Merry Christmas all, can't wait to see who we swap with in the New Year. Blessings to all.

SOOOOO glad ya'all are on the mend, so to speak.. Just take care of that ol' ticker. Another surprise is coming your way, be on the watch...probably about Monday or Tues..

OK....it is almost the middle of the month, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE - everyone in the swap PLEASE make contact with your partners. Everyone should have heard by now. I know there are some that really are a whiz on their machines and get their blocks done early in the month, but not to contact your partner is just not acceptable. I know life happens, but take 5 mins to let people know what is going on. IF you see you aren't able to make a block for your partner, at least let ME know thru PM

Don't let your partner down, just let them know what's going on with you. I know this month is a busy one, but we all knew this month was coming and stayed in the swap, so do your partner the honor of contacting her. Thanks. Hope all is well with everyone.

Jean

We had snow last Thurs/Friday, I was in hawg heaven, so to speak..had 5 days of frigid temps too. Today it made it to 37, I still have quite a bit of snow in the yd, but it's looking kinda messy! Da dawgs just don't care where they walk..LOLO I told them to stay close to the house, but they didn't listen, go figure.. Supposed to rain/32 degs...tonite/tomorrow. But on the 20th saying some very frigid temps headed this way, going to be the coldest in years..we shall see, Oklahoma weather can change in a second!! I just want SNOW...heee heee heee...

I guess I've gotten too used to doing the Boom swaps with a 4 month turn around-- I better get sewing! It may be next weekend before I can get my blocks started, but I promise they'll be mailed by Dec. 31.

This weekend is solely dedicated to "Christmasing". I have tonight to work on some unfinished presents, tomorrow morning to clean, tomorrow afternoon is hubby's office Christmas party, and Sunday is church and gift exchange with my best friend. Shew! I am pooped just thinking about it.

Finally Snow! That was a good Christmas present for you. You probably were sitting out side having coffee and watching the dogs. I can see it. LOL. We had a little snow, but didn't stay around. It was gone the xext day, but bently loved it. Can you believe I got all my santas done and have 4 more new ones for someone in OK. Going to get Natasha's out to Austrailia. Everyday is a gift to be able to get us and do the things you love.
Hugs Friend,
Roberto

Oksewnsew, I hope you get your quilt block by the middle of next week. With the holidays you never know, but it's on its way to you since yesterday. I enjoyed making it, but it is not perfect as in it has a few flaws. It is pretty and Christmas y though. (not sure Christmas y is a word) I am learning more with each block, and that is why I am here. lol.... Well, that and nice folks.

Merry Christmas!
Everyone
