JuneBillie, I look forward to receiving it - and WHAT??? a few flaws??? hmmmm, just might have to return it to ya.. we only strive for perfection ya know...HAHAHAH LOLOLO I'm sure it's going to fine. Don't be too hard on yourself, we all learn by doing.

Good for you Robert, now maybe you can rest a bit before Christmas Day, enjoy yourself..

Merry Christmas to all
Jean

I think everyone will get it done this time! after the massive rush for the holidays .. there is like this huge amount of free time that is like a gift to yourself right? same amount of time we have on a regular month but suddenly after the push push push it seems like OMG where did all this ME time come? love that part.

I sent my block thinking it got there today .. hope it does! I had a lot of fun making it and well since everything I do is absolute perfection I think everyone should be perfect. or perhaps you should leave your glasses off and view my blocks from say across the room.. looks like everything matches up right/ of course it does. Glasses should be .. disallowed so we all get .. that perfect vote! Today I worked on a center for a round robin got that done and 2/3rds of a wall hanging for another swap.. feeling pretty on top of things.. today lol. tomorrow will have more challenges to finish. like the two aprons I have more than half done, need ties that is it. why I avoid those, no idea.. is it just me? you start one project and hope around to other ones before you get back to finish some of them?

Brat,

I did receive your blocks today and they are lovely. I'm sure they will fit right in with the others to make a wonderful quilt. Thank you so much for your hard work on them. I have identified the fabrics I want to use in yours but have not settled down at the sewing machine to make them. I promise though they will be mailed before the end of the month. I'm on crunch time with a couple Christmas gifts I need to get done. Oh, also the craft faire went well. Not as well as last year, but I don't think we had the traffic we did at last year's faire. Worth going to, just wishing for more.

We had snow last Thurs/Friday, I was in hawg heaven, so to speak..had 5 days of frigid temps too. Today it made it to 37, I still have quite a bit of snow in the yd, but it's looking kinda messy! Da dawgs just don't care where they walk..LOLO I told them to stay close to the house, but they didn't listen, go figure.. Supposed to rain/32 degs...tonite/tomorrow. But on the 20th saying some very frigid temps headed this way, going to be the coldest in years..we shall see, Oklahoma weather can change in a second!! I just want SNOW...heee heee heee...

Howdy neighbor!!!!!!!
Thank you for the snow.......it's a first for me, as growing up in the Central Valley of California! we just had one dusting of snow.....when I was five!!!!! Lol!!!! I did the mandatory snow angel, bought the mandatory long johns, and of course my rubber boots!!!!!

Our chickens had never seen snow as they are only a few months old, so when it began, they were chasing and trying to eat it as they thought they were bugs...hee hee hee! but we do have one hen who stubbornly does NOT want to walk anywhere in the snow. It is HILARIOUS!!!!!

I am almost done with my partners December block......hope she likes it, as it is the first time I have tried this type of block. Will post after she receives it.

Hope everyone is having a great Christmas season! love you all. I love seeing all the creativity and warm thoughts on this special place.

That is if I can get it done in the next hour or so! The day has just disappeared on my, grocery shopping in morning. By the time everything was put up, had lunch and it's after 2 pm. Will need to start supper about 4:30 so I'm off to sew!

Gail I love the block! Thanks!

ABDC -- I'm almost done with your block! I put the sewing machine on the block today and I'm pretty happy with how it looks -- hope you like it! I just need to add some details and get it ready for mailing on Monday!

patiently waiting for next months swap tap tap tap of the toes (ah the brat is back!).

I just posted in block of the month a new quilt along . check it out .. no swapping involved but a grand learning experience on making a Medallion quilt. Today we will be toasty too think almost 40 before the wind hits. the snow is now ice on the ground wishing it all would go away. I am not so much a fan of snow. I can not go outside without help if I am to walk on it. So snow snow go away don't come back another day! Today I will finish my last tiny Christmas shopping. I need one item. ok its the only Christmas shopping I am doing at all. No black Fridays for me nor crowds. oh heck no. I hope you all are finished and relaxing now too.. something wonderful about sitting back and saying I don't have to do one more thing. This makes oodles of time for quilting then
