Look in the mail for a little treat coming to you and your sweet Cathy in the mail. It is a combination of down home Oklahoma and the classy Napa! CA.

Working on organizing my very tiny quilting room....sigh.....but my sweet cowboy is making the most out of our little house. Loving it up here....open spaces....all the critters......but missing my grand babies.
Congrats on the Seahawks, but gotta tell ya! I wanted my NINERS in there....lol!!!!
Love and hugs to you dear friend!!! Maybe we can do a side swap once I get organized......
Give Cathy a hug for me.......
Well maybe I need to take lessons from you and the small room. I am in the same predicament. I used the attic bedroom for the last 7 years great space shelves just like in the fabric shop for my bolts of fabric lots of space, a big table for cutting. Now I have a 10x10 small bedroom on the first floor. Not much ( really) not much space. one 6 foot table and totes all around the room. The Doc said no more stairs because of the passing out. Making the best of it. I wish I could knock a wall out.....lLOL.
Seahawks are flying niners are still digging for gold................LOL.
Secretly I am a Bronco fan, but because I live in WA I had to cheer for Seahawks.
I'm glad you like it back there. Have you hooked up with Madam President Jean yet?

Stay warm!
Hugs
Robert

I just received a PM from a new/former Bee member that her father passed today. Her board name is Beagltr. She said she just can't think of being without him. If you would like, you might send her a card - her given name is Rosalyn Beggers, 397 Hillside Ave., Box 860, Hillside, NJ 07205. Please keep her in your prayers. Thanks.

Sew Hugs
Jean

Losing anyone is hard. I find that I get very thoughtful when it comes to my parents.. my father when I was 18 passed and my mom just a few years back. I wish I had given more time.. such a simple gift time. Doesn't cost a thing and they treasure it so much. My own children are gifting me with this now.. phone calls, visits.. they know I am on borrowed time. All I can say is if you are so busy you can't take a call.. can't stop in for a visit especially if they are living close to you.. you should think about it and think twice. You can't take back time. I am sorry for her loss. I will gladly send her a card even though I didn't know her. Support in numbers can be a warm blanket in a hard time.

Difergie, those quilt blocks are so pretty. Those are kind of what I am doing too.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of her dad. My dad is 81, and has had a tough year, but he is doing better now. I lost my mom almost 2 years ago, and didn't know how I could make it through. Our family was very close. There is nothing words can say really. All I know is taking one day at a time, even one moment at a time.
I am glad you sent the address, because I will be sending a card.

Today is much warmer where I live. It's in the low 60's, and sunny. I am getting ready to soon go down and see my dad.

Have a great week everyone, and happy sewing/quilting.

I like your floral blocks difergie and I am making one similar for junebillie this month! I am sorry to hear of your friend's loss. I just lost my Mom on the 20th of Jan...she was 87 and by the grace of God I spent Christmas week in Illinois with her and my sister. I will always remember that week with her and be forever thankful for it! Peace and prayers to your friend..

missgigglewings I am so glad you had that time with your mom. I can't believe that next month in March my mom will have been gone for 2 years. Missing her never gets easier just different in that we go on with our lives, because that is what we must do. I hope everyone keeps up a good week, and have fun sewing or just something special for yourself.

Missgigglewings,
Sorry to hear about your Mom! Any of us that their Mom has passed, it leaves a hole in your heart. BUT, she really isn't gone. Your mom has her wings on now and talk about Missgigglewings, you have your very own.
Praying for you!

I rec'd this amazing block from Retired Fire Chief today! Woo! I do believe this block has inspired me to get on the Carol Doaks pping train. And I think another month or two and I'll be ready to turn these into a top! I just ordered a bolt of black in anticipation... wooo!
