JuneBillie you can find longer pins at Joann's in the floral section. I get mine there. They are 3" and have the pearl looking heads. They do have actual hat pins 5-7" in the bead department that I have used too. Plus you can always use coupons on all of the pretty beads. I use a super glue gel to keep the beads on the pin.

Mailed ljptexas her block today. Trouble with PO being closed(holiday etc)Hope U like it Jody & I did receive her beautiful one for me today. She mailed the 13th & I got it the 20th. What is the deal with the PO these days? I now have to buy tracking because I'm afraid they will lose it! LOL It could be worse! My block is perfect for what I am doing & I really love it!

Oksewnsew, I have to admit I really like the nice gentle snow also. Just keep wind from blowing.
We live on a hill here and if the wind is blowing we get drifts that are as high as the car. I've had to walk through so much of that white stuff to work. It's been nice this winter not to get off at 1am from the hospital and plow home. lol. I'm really glad I'm retired when I think about that.
