I do have a balance problem but this time I didn't fall. We went on vacation to Mexico and my feet were killing me, I was walking funny trying stay off my heels and fractured two bones in the top of the foot. Walked on foot for 4 days. X-ray showed Plantar Faciitis, a bone spur and the two fractures. With the boot it is ok to hobble around on main floor but sewing room is in basement and we don't have a railing going down there. To be truthful the Plantar Faciitis hurts worse then the breaks. Going to see the foot specialist Tuesday.

Oh boy, I've had those before! I went through all the shots, etc and nothing helped...You'll laugh at this, but a chiropractor is the one that healed mine! He used little electrodes on my heels and after a few treatments, they went away! I have a chiro now that has worked on my DD's and she said she can't believe how good it feels to be able to walk without 'limping'. Sure hope you can find some relief soon... OH, and the Dr told my DD to soak her foot in Epsom Salts, then rub her heel with cider vinegar, couple times a day, especially before bed..it's worked..;o)

Still looking for clarification from my partner, Marilyn43. Trying to do the Superbowl Mystery Quilt. Seems like I did not read the directions well enough. Hmmmm....

Thanks Owensew, walking funny also threw my hip and back out. At the lake I have a great chiropractor. It's a small town and they have 4 different clinics. Live here in the big city and have tried 4 or 5 different ones but none I felt comfortable with. Need the fractures to heal b4 I worry about the Plantar Fasciitis. Guess I'm not aging gracefully

Good day to everyone. Hope all had a nice weekend. We dealt with winter weather all weekend and it's still going on. I don't know if I'm going crazy or what but I've sure mixed a couple of my swap partners up. Hopefully I got it down right now. I think I'll blame it on cabin fever, it's been so long since I've been out of this town because of the winter.
Terriamn how awful for you to get around. That is so very painful. You take care my dear. I've had a couple of days trying to rearrange my sewing room and to organize fabric. Just is not an easy task when you don't have storage. I wish all a great week and lots of great quilting. Marilyn43

I received a beautiful January block from Marilyn 43. I will post a photo in a while. I only know how to post from iPad and I'm lazy, it is in another room.
Thank you Marilyn, I love it!

Sunrise450, I'm so relieved you finally got the block and also that you like it. I think the reason for it taking longer than usual was the blizzard. I know we didn't get mail for 2 days.

Hello everyone, I'm back so happy to get involved again! I contacted my partner but she dropped out a while back.

So I'm looking for a willing partner....my request is simple...just make me a block...any method..any color...so if you'd like a partner or another partner, I'm willing! Just PM me!

Hugs,
Betty
