that chocolate line is berryberry nice! yummmmmy! too many things i want to do and not enough time to do the things i need to do. and that is why i will be taking some time off from swaps, when i've finished this round. i will still pop my silvery head in once in awhile to keep up with the gang.

Hey, does that mean you'll need a binding buddy? I'll bind yours if you'll quilt mine, lol!

I am so much better at binding than quilting. I need a quilting buddy. I'd happily trade out binding for quilting with someone, especially when I get to the king-size quilt that is going to go on our bed. I may end up sending that one out for quilting, but I don't know to who yet. I know there are several really good LAQ'ers on here.

i wish i had a LA or at least knew how to use one. my qbuddy has one and has offered to show me on hers, but until i get a back fence the dogs are on house arrest, and that means i am too. or i have to leave them locked in my bedroom, not a happy thought either. dh really isn't up for fence building or lawn mowing and both need to be done. the tulips are nearly passed in the front grass, so it will be safe to mow. i read somewhere that the nutrition in the leaves is what feeds the blossom inside the plant and that it just stays dormant underground until next spring when it grows again. that may be why my tulips don't always come back. also, some of the fancy ones are a one shot deal. i think next year i will dig out the area of lawn and make it a real garden. HELP! i need a gardener!!
these daffys are the 6" minis. i think they are soooo cute!

I have my mug rug ready to go and will post tomorrow. I'm having problems trying to post pictures I don't know why? I hope Momma_K can post a picture when it arrives. I did a few first on this little one. Applique and embroidery so much fun.

I am mailing tomorrow to WEE Fi!!!! nothing overly over the top just wasnt the mood when it hit me. I like to puruse my fabric supplies and go I want this one and that one and maybe a bit of.. and sew. So.. I did a bit of me in a little bundle.

I am going to bring something up that I think should be a good point in ALL swaps: when you receive something take 1 minute and iron it before posting. I know the person who sent it to you did and when you take a pic, its wrinkled fresh out of an envelope it looks a bit less than it could with a fresh press. Its a thank you to your sender and your showing the world what they make.. show it in its best light ok? personally I have not been so grand at this and am going to make it my mission to do this. things just look nicer when they are clean pressed.

I think everyone is just so darn excited they can't wait for everyone to see! I didn't iron the runner I sent to Tracibug before I photographed it, so it looked a lil wonky in the photos, especially when I laid it across the back of the futon to take pictures.

I am ready to mail to you brat, assuming I can get it done in my lunch break today.... I started down a kind of quirky route but totally changed direction and played safe. Hope you like it!

Good suggestion, will definitely press before the photo shoot.
