Right there with you Sibi!, we are on the same page. Being in so many different swaps at the same time, I am trying to stay organized and on task. Still trying to figure out exactly what I want to do, so MANY choices!

DARN YOU Pintrest!

I could use that.. one day lol and well mug rugs? grand use of your little pieces so check your scraps. amazing what you find

Guessing here that you are a Pinterest fan? I have to seriously limit my time on there....or I would be on there 24/7. So much to learn and look at, so many ideas! I feel like my brain is about ready to explode every time I go on there because there is sooooo much I want to do but don't have the time for. Is it that way for you too?

I agree, Sibi! Pintrest is my evil. I can stay on there for hours! The only thing that I don't like about it is you have to sort through the same pictures sometimes when they have been repinned multiple times.

Well once you get so many, it's hard to remember that you've pinned it before, lol. I try to go back through mine every now & then, but I can't always see all of them for some reason & then I'll catch later that I've had something pinned twice for a long time.

My former's boss's wife got me hooked on pinterest. I use it for completely different reasons than she does though. I don't have the need to pin sayings or photos of models or stars. I only really use it for recipes, crafting pages, and crafting/household hints. That's the beauty of Pinterest though. It can be for anything you want it to be!

Wink ears perk up

Did someone say Pinterest? OH my, it is fun and addicting. I have had to budget my time on it to when I am talking on the phone. Does anyone out there want my phone number?

Haha Colleen! That is a great idea! I'll take your number - but I'm a talker! This sums up how I feel about pinterest: (of course I found it on pinterest LOL)

Finished my mug rug days ago, but no word back from my partner yet. I'm guessing that means she's not ready to ship just yet. Today is all about the secret projects for the home decor swap...if I can get motivated to get off my rump & get busy. I got sidetracked by making brownies, and now it's almost lunchtime.

I received my mug rug in the mail from Mary Quilting. It is really lovely! I will post some pictures later this evening. It is made in shades of blue, tan and brown and features a detailed bird applique. The eggs have been echo quilted and there is a quilted feather too!
