Well, this is a surprise, sad, confused, mad, disappointed. Please, what is the trick for posting pictures with this new format? The tree icon has been replaced with a landscape icon, I think, and all it asks for is a URL. Pictures on my PC don't have a URL and it doesn't take me to my picture library. I can't figure it out. I'm old and don't want to have to keep re-learning how to do this stuff. The precious time I have, I want to use doing other, better things than spending time learning the QB all over again.

Help!!!!!!

I checked the QB help center and there is no thread started regarding posting picture instructions on new format...and I played some and can't figure it out, Ube.... Sorry. I'll start a question thread and see if instruction can be provided. They are still working on new format so maybe this feature isn't working yet.

Posting pictures with new board format
use the paperclip to the right of the smiley which brings up manage attachments... which only appears on posting a new post, not here in Quick Reply. Choose your pic from your computer and scroll to the right to upload. If you want to post a pic in your reply, you have to go to GoAdvanced and the Paper Clip does appear to the right of the Smiley

Thanks, Quiltnan....I tried that yesterday and didn't work. Good to see it working today.

Happy New Years! 2020....geesh....seems so unreal.

I have a feeling this is going to be a fun swap. Maybe the QB will have normalized a little and we will have gotten comfortable with it. A little at a time. I hope my albums and started threads come back as well as personal ratings and avatars. I really enjoyed sending positive reviews out to the world.

I haven't started my WHing yet, still searching for an idea.

wishing a good new year to all.

Happy New Year everyone! Need a magnifier to read this board now, even with my new glasses. Finally decided on my new whing. Using 30's fabrics with white background, making a Mariner's Compass. Something new for me. Hope it works.

Sounds like it will be beautiful Rumbols. I’ve never tried one either.

I am going to look for an idea. Will let you know if I get it ready to mail in time. If not, hopefully it will be ready for the next swap.

Go to the reply box at the bottom of the thread
Under the box you should see another small narrow box that says Options in blue in the top left corner.
In that Options box you see Quote message in reply?
And under that box you will see Post Quick Reply and to the rt of that is Go Advanced.

Click on Go Advanced and a window will pop up
You will see another Reply window
Under this window you will see - Additional Options
There you will find a box that says Miscellaneous Options
The next box down says Manage Attachments.
Click on Manage Attachments
you will find the box with the Computer option where you can add your pic and post it.

Once you find it then you will know it isn't that hard to find.
----------------------

1. Click on Go Advanced
2. Click on Manage Attachments
3. Add computer file and post

This was part of the old system also.
I used it when I posted tutorials.
