Hi dotcomdtcm, I was wondering, could you post a photo of your Fantasy Tree Quilt? It was my inspiration for the theme this month.

Here's a sample of 12" Sq. blocks that I received in the Monthly Block Swap that are Funky Trees. They were not made by me. But, received by fellow board members. They are not as diverse as Dotty's are. But, they are a good jumping off point. We are working on a much smaller scale.

Here is another sample of a "Mixed Media" Tree. This sample only measures about 4 1/2 x 6 1/2". I was inspired by someone else's mixed media cards. But, I decided to put in some of my favorite things. There's a pennant for each of the member's of my immediate family and grandchildren.

Mom and have been working on some trees today. They do not lay flat at all. Absolutely 3D... I don't know how they would mail. They are very cute though.
