I think several of us are feeling this way!!! Oh well, I know that many of us were overwhelmed by this holiday season, and had difficulty getting the project done.

Patience is a virtue..........isn't that what they say?

Foo!!!

If anyone feels stressed that mine isn't done yet - I am very patient. It is practically my middle name. Mad-Patient Quilter. No worries. Good things come to those who wait.

Holiday? What holiday?

Sadly, ours has been consumed with trips to the hospital; Tom's mom was admitted on the 20th. At 91, we knew it was probably going to be the last time. Early this morning they called to say it probably wouldn't be long. He is still there. If you are the praying sort, prayers for Mom & her family would be appreciated (am I allowed to ask for that any more?). We've been pretty lucky; until the last year she was in excellent health, although the Alzheimer's has been advancing for a few years. She's mostly been cheerful and always happy to see people. The end of life is harder than the beginning.

I'd love to show you a picture of the doll quilt that should be leaving here tomorrow, if I can get to the PO. Got a new camera (Canon Powershot), installed disk, registered product... And when I try to download pics, I get a message that says USB not recognized.

Now I am computer illiterate. I want them to work, and after that, well ... Usually I'd have Tom help, but he is at the hospital. So this might have to go out to somebody without a picture being posted. Drat. I was excited to be able to post pictures, now I have to wait.

I'll give you a hint. My package will be going out to somebody in North America. Any guesses??

At least now I won't feel guilty when mine arrives! And if you are sending mine but are feeling pressured, relax, I'm good. Life is crazy here right now, so whenever I get a package, I'll be happy.
Peace and Joy,
Robin

So sorry you are going through this Robin! Of course I will keep you in my prayers! I am still working on mine so I know mine is going to be late. Somethings can't be helped.

In the scheme of things what you are doing is so much more important than getting your DQ out. Our thoughts are with you and your family!!

I am the praying sort!
I am praying that your Tom will be as blessed as can be by a change of situation and so thankful that you have had your MIL for so long. Thankful that Altzheimers didn't rob her of spreading joy.
And, I am praying peace for your season and your camera.
The timing of everything is in His hands, and He does appreciate your need for time and support ... that is what we are here to do. <wave>

peaceandjoy,
What a blessing to have had your MIL this long.

The day they tell me I can't pray for someone, well I better be on my way to the pearly gates, cuz it ain't happening. I love to pray for people. Sometimes it is the only thing we can do.

To Whom It May Concern:

Your little quilt is done and was to get in the mail today, but do to a horrific sinus headache, I didn't get to PO. It will go out tomorrow, I promise.

Should I post a pic?
