This sounds great. I'd really like to do a winter quilt!

This is my first time in this swap. Do you usually choose your own design, within the theme, or custom design something your partner asks for?

Will appreciate your thoughts.

The design is totally up to you. Your interpretation of the theme
It is nice especially this month if you ask your partner which direction they'd like you to go. Some folks may not want an authentic Christmas mini, but rather a wintery one. But the design(pattern)is totally up to you. Hope that helps.

Glad to have you join us!

I am finally settled in after the disaster at the condo and closing the cottage in Maine. Count me in -- I have to make 9 table setting/place mats and this will also be the right size. I do enjoy the minis.

I have a steel door here in Olympia and use magnets to"hang my minis each month.

On to Thanksgiving. I am trying a few new recipes and just made a mushroom barley soup. Very easy and tasty with a hearty crusty bread. Yumm!

my fabrics are red and green -- one has gingerbread houses -- another has holly -- another has candy -- so I guess you could call them holiday -- I hadn't thought of differences before
