WOW - what a WONDERFUL box I got - you ladies should be drooling over all the fantastic things that were in my November Secret Pal box. It was more like Christmas - and funny, but I did guess it from the hint she left - although you're never really sure. Anyway, here's a list of what was in the box - a 2013 Hawaiian Flower calendar (she's from the glorious state of Hawaii), 4 lovely purple fabrics (half and full yard cuts), a container of safety pins, nail files, quilt block/row markers, a Purple Thang, purple buttons, a mug rug, a Hawaiian applique pattern, a composition book, a measuring guide, peppermint cocoa, a handmade tea cup pincushion, cat scissors, a bobbin box, scrunchies, hand gel, a carry case with hand wipes, a kitty cat tape measure (pull out the ear for the measure), Hawaiian tea (drinking a cup right now), Nestles crunchies, York mint patties, Macadamia nuts and an embroidered hand towel. The card enclosed had one of her own photographs as the front of it. Here's some photos - and thanks again Leiladylie54, I was so lucky to get you this month.

    Happy BD Brenda!

Off topic alert: so today was our eye dr appt and I'm convinced I'm gonna need new glasses, I just can't see well out of the distance portion of my glasses on the left eye. I know I'm getting a cataract so maybe that's it, but he took my glasses off, came back and informed me that once he cleaned the film off he thought I'd see a whole bunch better, and you know what he's right, so instead of a $300-$400 pair of trifocals, I treated us to a $3 bottle of glass cleaner, which can even be refilled he told me...man I love a happy ending. And DH didn't need new glasses either...yay!! That hasen't happened for years...

Don't see any clues that apply to me...c'mon throw me a bone someone

    Brenda & Mooretll -
Happy 1/2 century you two young ladies. I'm sure that doesn't sound like the most positive way to say it, but heck, I loved the 50's and I'm liking the 60's even better. It's very exilerating to be so comfortable in your own skin finally. And now you have a good excuse to claim to be both eccentric and forgetful. lol.

Well, nothing like waiting until the last minute to hit the drop dead shipping date. Package will be mailing tomorrow after work to a state with a huge holiday event that I'm sure most everyone in the United States and abroad is familiar with. Vroom.

I am not home but my neighbor who checks my mail and takes care of my furballs told me I have a package! Soooo I wonder if it is from my SP! We will be home tomorrow evening hopefully i have a nice surprise waiting for me!

It seems like I have barely been home the last 6 weeks! a day or two and then off again! I am honestly looking forward to a few days to my self and just veg out at home! This is the job that never ends! started as just a painting job and now we are repairing the swimming pool deck! I am learning to patch cement! Oh how fun it can be! just think mud pies when you were a kid and that is what I am doing! Hubby says I am a natural and I might just end up replacing one of his regular crew! Hummm, not sure that is a good idea! i like the extra money but well not sure I like being away from my sewing room!
Give a smile away today, someone you meet might need one!

Package to my SP is in the mail! Its on its way. I have sent a package to region before but not this person. I'm too many pages behind and its too late to stay up any longer. And just realized tonight Thanksgiving Day is in one week not two so I'll be a lot busier than I thought.

Checked confirmation and it said expected delivery today, I'd be very surprised, just don't think that is going to happen. Mailed on the 13th so it's probably lucky to be out of Wyoming today. I'm thinking maybe Saturday. Guess today is the mail by date so all should be headed somewhere. Today's hints, 1st number of zipcode, 7 and 6

Thank ya'll so much for the Birthday wishes!!! What a great day I had...will have to post a pic of my awesome cake in a little while...
SharonAnne~it's too funny you worded it that way....a few weeks ago my sister said "so, what do you want for your half century?" and my reply of course was that first of all, I wanted her to STOP referring to it that way! hahahah...but, actually, I'm fine with it...it's just a number right?
Jaba~ now I'm super dee duper sure that package is coming to me!!!!! haha
