Wow my gold bias tape came today. 5 days early. So I sat down and finished my runner. Now I'm ready to mail.

I recognize that pattern!. Did you enjoy making it? Love the colors you chose.

All the toppers so far are incredible. I finally have an idea that I am toying with. I am back down to part-time work so I will have more sewing time, yay!

I haven't started yet! Almost finished the Papa's Pickup project, then I want to get Clue #1 done of the Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt. Somewhere in there I have to decide what I'm making for the swap! Yikes! Christmas shopping might be done in January! lol

You have plenty of time Sue. The hard part is deciding what to make and picking fabrics. lol. You do sound extra busy.

I don't know about the rest of you but November flew by for me. I'm hoping December meanders along...

Sue....you'll get it done. When inspiration hits, you'll mow people down to get to it in all the excitement... That's how it works for me, anyway. Lol.. I hope you'll share the applique truck when all done.

Rosalyn ,I think your I.d. pin was a great place to use the sewing machine pin. I often wonder what people do with the odd items I send in a swap. Thanks for posting a picture. I tried to post on the P.M. you sent it wouldn't let me. Same on this thread. So I signed out and signed in again and it seems to be working. I know the board has had a lot of problems lately. I still don't have links to threads I'm signed up for in my email notices. Thanks for the P.M. and the photo.

Oh Ube I like the curved flying geese. I've not seen them with the different size geese. I really like it. Can't wait to see the finished project.

I am giddy with delight at my new sewing machine, gifted to me today from a friend, quilter and coworker.

Her name is Mary Louise, a 1953 chain stitch, hand crank that makes beautiful stitches. Even though it is a childs toy, it is a working machine.

The cake stand is another one of my favorite tools that I use by my machine to hold all my small stuff. I stack two of them and it is perfect for the pin cushions, markers, small rulers, spools, glue, Chaco liner and all that little stuff that gets lost so easily. Thanks
