Welcome Karen. I think you'll like it. It's not usually a really big swap so it's fun and cozy. I still haven't decided what I'm making. I need to start thinking on it.

My table runner is ready to mail and I'm really hoping the recipient will like it. New things for me:

Crazy Quilt block; first time using varigated thread, new to me decorative stitches used throughout...and, I've never designed by own runner...always used patterns. Fun project!

I did a new to me pattern, log cabin. I know it’s probably not new to most of you though. It helped me get ready to start piecing the 1/4 log cabin I’ve got planned for son #3.

Pamela...I've only made one LC and it was a curvy LC pattern. It's on my bucket list to make another one so I'm not far behind you on the lack of "experience" of LC. It looks like an easy block but it can go wonky quickly if not careful. Ask me how I know...lol... Probably why I haven't attempted it again. Love the look of the block so your runner is sure to please us...

Pamala I'm sure it is a beauty. Just because we have done the pattern doesn't mean we don't want it. I have made 1 king size LC and I don't have any runners with the LC. Teen I want to try a curvy LC. I think they are so pretty.

Here is my curvy. This was made for my MIL and these are her colors. She has this draped over the back of her sofa and, though, the colors do not appeal to me personally, it looks so pretty in her living room. Surprisingly, it matches every color of her sofa fabric, which was totally not planned. Lol... I just randomly selected colors in her colorway.

Maybe you ladies can help me w/ a design dilemma. I am working on this quilt for a great niece. I have run out of the pink, but my quilt is to short the way it is w/ just the cubes. I have enough to the 4 patches to put a double row (on point and alternating w/ the dark blue fabric) at the top like a "pillow border" or I can put a single row on top and bottom. I can not add any to the width (I already have the backing and it is just wide enough.

Any ideas?

No worries Kassandra! I did see your post on the other thread. This pattern intrigues me! I think I would put a solid border as needed all the way around, sort of framing the main feature? Good luck!
