Anoka Quilter has run it in the past, but I haven't even seen her post anything in quite awhile. Would anyone be willing to take this task on?

I sent her an email earlier in the month and did not hear anything. I can host if need be but did not want to step on any toes.

I just sent her a message too. It doesn't look like she has been on the QB since May. If we don't hear from her by the end of the week, I don't think it will be a problem for you to host the swap. But I would check with PatriceJ first. Thanks!

Maybe if someone does take over and get ornament swap started it , would be good. If our past host contacts the forum and wants to take over then let her. Maybe we could help her out at this time.

I doubt Anoka would mind someone else hosting. I do hope Anoka is well.

I think waiting until the end of this week & checking with Patrice is the right way to go. I have always enjoyed this swap with all the handmade Christmas ornaments that we have come up with through the years.

I have also messaged Anoka with no reply. I love this swap and I have moved into a bigger apartment and will be able to put up a small tree with all the ornaments I have received from this swap.

Does anyone have pics of ornaments from the past swaps that they can post? Either alone or on a tree? I would like to get an idea of the range of ornaments. Thanks, DS

this year i'm making flower fairies. you can look them oup on Etsy or pintrest. i'vve made over 100 already and hand them out to friends this year, and keep some for myself. I decorate in aqua and white and silver. i ususally get green and red, so i don't think i'll join anymore.

put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

It would be really nice if you could host have3boys! I also pm her about it with no reply. I hope this swap continues. So many people love this event. Sadly, I have been chauffeuring and care giving a family member with cancer and cannot this year.
