they are jail house stripes, owls, i had one in my first set of owls and he are she was such a hit, that i am making a few of them seperate to give to to the ones that wanted one, the one i have already made is in this broup of postings not sure which one, sorry and i will go ahead and make like 4 of them to make sure i have enough, they sure are cute, lol, thanks for all the interest,

The prisoner owl is just too cute. Can't wait to see it in person. How's it going ladies on the blocks. I finished up another set over the weekend. Needed to add borders and need to just touch up on the last set. So I am ready for all the owl blocks .....

The last one will have the wiggly eyes in a separate baggie so you can attach them after quilting.

The 9-1/2" square white owl on black fabric looks better in person. There are shades of white and gray, but it all just looks white in the photo.

Moonrise, your blocks are wonderful! I hope I get one of each too! My favorite is the little guy on the dark blue night sky background, it would be perfect for a baby quilt I'm working on.

oh moonrise they are wonderful, nad yes i like the dark blue sky one, but my fav is the cunky one, are orientl one, day sky, and ohh love the sound of wiggle eyes, had not thought of that , almost done with mine, doing hadnwork on the faces so cool,
