I know a while back (don't remember if it was this swap or the last one) someone was asking what we do with our swap blocks...well, here is what I've been doing with my layer cakes from Luv's wonderful Stars & Stripes swap and the Blue's swap. I had to add 1 fabric to the bright quilt and I added like 5 fabrics to the darker quilt. I hope y'all enjoy!!! The pattern is titled "Ashley's Journey" from the book "Piece of Pie: Layer Cake Friendly Quilt Patterns" by Brenda Bailey & Bonnie Bailey.

*The rest of the Stars & Stripes and some squares that marybrace sent me will be going in a quilt for baby boy's Infant Room Teacher...as soon as I can find a free moment to assemble it. :)

All the sets are swapped.. I did come across some problems however.....

I had to refuse a few sets- reason noted on your baggies..
And this specific swap was short sooooo many sets ( 24 to be exact) to begin with.
So..........

You WILL most likely have:
~ 2 dups of UP TO 3 different fabrics in ONE set
~ Dups of fabrics from one set to another IF you did more than 3 sets.
~ YOUR own fabric square in your set

All in all I tried very hard to swap evenly- I even added more fabric from my personal stash to 'help' spread the duplicates more evenly... I Do believe I have ONE AND TWO (of some) of each and every one of your fabrics you sent in to me...
