Okay, Gals. Here's my label. It is actually an embroidery design, but I exported it to a picture so I could print it since my machine is in the shop and I want to get my center out to Barb. It will be on it's way Monday, Barb, so we can get an idea how long things will take to get to Canada.

I note we haven't heard anything from Norbana on this thread. Has anyone heard from her? Hopefully, it's just cause she's busy getting her center done.

Have touched bases w/NorBanaQuilts, Think she's just busy, haven't seen many posts, or logged in. :)

I've been busy getting my center done. This quilt will be for my DH. He picked the center out. I still need to come up with a label idea.

Those who have International addresses, PM your reciever and ask if it's ok to mail ANY rounds that are done early. We know it can take a bit longer to get from overseas to US.

Those who are US, ONLY mail this round early. The rest of the rounds PLEASE mail on the mail dates. If you will be traveling during a mail date, PM your reciever and ask if it is ok to send early.

We don't want tops to be piled up on people with everyone mailing early.

My center and label are on their way to Canada. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to get there (according to the USPS website 6 - 10 days).

Norbana, I am ready for yours whenever you want to send it. I have an idea of what I want to do with it, but am waiting to see the actual colors as I don't trust the colors I see on my computer. I love your block and am excited to be the first one to get it.

I am so sorry, it is here, pressed flat and now I am working on color matching. My question is, do you want it bigger than 19.75 on each side? Do you mind if I make bigger than a 3 in border to do some stitch work keeping with the Southwestern Native American theme ?

I'm not sure if we can make a border bigger than our round...unless you are talking about the difference between my 19" and the original 24" we were offered at the start. OK that may have been confusing...I'll just say, anything you decide will be ok with me.

Inspiration hit last night had an aha, hope it works!!

This is what I came up with, it's a obw 60 degree, with the outside edges scalloped, and some room to write in, can go up down sideways, or use as a template for your own fabric, they are petals or bowlike ribbons and outlines done when they get back here. will send in a zippie w/a couple of spares. They are backed with a light weight stabilizer.
If a couple of you are good with it, thats what I'll go with.

All right, C.CalQuiltGirl, you can start thinking about this. My center is finally done.
This is something brand new for me, but a pattern I saw years ago and have been wanting to make ever since. The calla lily is my daughter's favourite flower and this pattern matches her tattoo. When everyone is finished turning the center into a quilt top, the finished quilt will become her wedding quilt (I'm betting on a wedding by then, anyways).
