ornament finished and ready to pack up nd mail out--perhaps tomorrow. Once i got started, I couldnt stop---or so it might seem.

I mailed my package yesterday. It is going to someone who I have never had as a swap partner and lives in a state where I have never mailed a package. Interesting, isn't it??? Anyway, the expected delivery is Monday 11/15. I hope she likes it.

Hi everyone, happy ornament making. My ornament went out yesterday too. It should be there by monday or tusday of next week. I hope is just right for her.
It is very exciting to know the ornaments are winging their way to the new homes. Soon we will have our party! I am going to make sure I have hot cocoa and peppermints on hand for it, LOL!

All you busy ornament elves,are so ahead of me. I am still working on mine. But will have in the mail by the end of next week. Or, may be sooner if my fingers learn how to fly as fast as Santa's reindeer. Wink Wink!

Just need to close up the ornament and it will be on its way East form me.

My Ornament swap was posted today. Hopefully will be received in 10 to 14 days time. It has a way to go across Australia.

I am off to a Christmas Quilt retreat next week for four days. So I have to get busy preping projects to sew there. My 2021 Christmas Placemat is now finished. Pic Attached.

forgot yesterday was veterans day so had to wait til today to mail package. now safely in hands of the USPS and should be to its recipient on 11/18/21. Hope she likes it..or should I say them/

The next few days that will be easy, because I'm still finishing my ornament. I mentioned that earlier that I snagged a part-time job at my local grocery store bakery this summer. I'm getting a front row view of how crazy holiday time is! Pumpkin everything now and then on to Christmas. A teammate said it best last week: "They're buying everything that isn't nailed down out there!" I'm lovin' every minute of it!

O rats, I think I forgot to write Ornament Swap on my envelope to my swapping buddy. Maybe I did, may be not. Well, any way it is in a 9 X 5 brown envelope with hand drawn Christmas trees on the outside.Don't open it until December 1 Sorry. I don't want to spoil my swappers surprise!:(

I received my Christmas Ornament swap package today. I have put it away until the 1st.

Lovely surprise on arriving home from a very enjoyable Christmas Quilting Retreat. Held at the beach about an hour 's drive for me. I have a super time and got lots of Christmas sewing done.

I received my pkg to day, along with my SS one. So happy to be able to look and dream about the contents for a few days. Really have to get my tree up, even if its only on the verandah, before the 1st Dec.

Want to apologize for my absence. Life is happening at my home. My husband caught RSV and it went into pneumonia. Additionally, my mom has been fighting Stage IV IBC triple negative breast cancer for 2 years. The doctors told us it is terminal this last week and there is not much else they can do. The cancer that has spread to her skull, live, lungs, and lymph nodes reacted to cancer and is gone, but the right breast got progressively worse.

We are trying to enjoy the holidays with my mom and make the best of what we have.

I have received many emails and wanted to let you know why I have not replied. I have received them. Going through them now.

Hav4boys, God bless you for pushing through and staying strong through multiple family illnesses. I want to say don't worry about us, but I can only speak for myself. I have not seen that my ornament has arrived but there is still time. Cherish this time of family and ask mom all of the questions you can think of about her childhood, family and life as a young woman. I wish I had done more of that before my father passed. Praying for grace and peace for you and your family.

Thank you Linda. Your kindness made me cry. I have held strong and know it will all happen according to His plan. It is so hard watching my mom go through this. She is a trooper. She keeps telling me parents are supposed to go before kids and I am thankful she has not had one of us kids pass.

I still have 6 people that have not let me know their ornament shipped. All ornaments should have been sent out by now. Please let me know. I want everyone to get an aornament.

Oh dear! I will also pray for you and your family. It is hard, but trust in your faith in God's love and protection. I all too well know what you are going through. Be still and know he is with you.

Oh goodness! I was one of the bad apples! I thought that I had posted when I received but life must have jumped in the way. I did receive my package and it is quietly sitting on my sewing table taunting me. Excited.
