Mary, I have made MANY in the past for the SP Swap and they have usually been in their favorite colors but all are gone now and this is the last one I have left. In fact, it's the only one that has the wattle on it and actually looks like a real chicken. Make him bigger? O nooooo he's plenty big! Bigger than the flower one I made. I feel like my chicken is the only one getting critiqued here.....:rolleyes:

I love that simple white chicken. I love the chicken pin cushions. They are so unique in their own right. I will take all of them if that is ok.

not at all teresa. the chicken pincushions are very popular no matter how many times it has been done. i was just showing some other variations that i had seen on the board of chicken pincushions as you had mentioned that its been done a lot. i got a chicken pc in one of my swaps also and love it. nope your chicken pincushion is just fine.:thumbup:

I have titled my pin cushion 'Spring Blossoms.' After all the piecing it measures about 5-1/2" across. I hope you enjoy my pin cushion. It's nothing fancy.

I really like this white chicken. One of our most special chickens in my coop is all white, named Eggsy. Original, eh! I have some strawberry pincushions almost finished & am excited to officially join this swap once they are done. Might just get a carrot done & have a fruit & a vegetable. We'll see... The pincushions posted so far are really pretty & I'd be thrilled to have any in my collection!
