In the famous words of my Grandson.... All Done!!! :)

Here are a few pics I took as I worked on the pincushion this morning. It turned out a lot bigger than I thought. I followed the free pattern on BHG site, took a picture of it next to my Yorkshire Terrier for scale. I doubled all the stitching to make it durable. It's happily tucked away in a large ziplock bag waiting to go to its new home. :) :) :) I will keep my eyes open for maybe a pretty butterfly button to sew atop. Will see what pops up :thumbup:

Heya Craftymatt2 I think I have heard of the jellystone campground I will have to look it up and see where its located. :) :) :) Would be nice to meet another quilter and tallk shop over lunch :)

Wow Jenniky, and you thought you would not have time to make one.

I was properly motivated by doing something I new. I realized while making it the only other pincushion I ever made was when I was in Second Grade and made one for my mother out of a paper cup, rocks, styrofoam and felt. LOL Wow memories... :) :) :)

I am looking forward to being a part of this swap. Sounds like a lot of fun.

ok i have a question: is there a distinct preference between a useable pincushion or a decorative one? now i ask this question because i have two very distinct ideas for pincushions i want to design/build/assemble/create. they will be decorative and useable and of course one can 'stick' pins in them if they so desire.:D
