All of the fabrics came from Connecting Threads. I LOVE their design wall where you can see how the fabrics will blend.

What a beautiful quilt! Very soothing and soft looking. Great job. So where is everyone?? There must be a flurry of quilting and binding going on, with August just a week away. Don't forget to post pictures when you get your quilts, we all want to oooh and aahhhh along with you.

WOW! All the quilts are beautiful. I am so out of my league in this swap.

Anyway, I finished the binding last night. Tonight I will tag and pack (if the GD remembers to go to the PO and get me a box) and off to MDQuilter tomorrow!

This may weird but the pictures I took of my new quilt are so pretty I am sitting here amazed that the quilt is mine!!!

Yea! Finished! My partner and I agreed to both put our quilts in the mail tomorrow. I am so nervous about this. Especially after seeing all the beautiful quilts posted, I hope she likes mine!

My Q4Q swap partner and I exchanged quilts this past week. This is the beautiful quilt I received from J_Cody. She did a fantastic job on it and I love it. Thank you again! I'm having a bit of trouble getting photo's posted of the quilt I sent her, but I will keep trying. Thanks for hosting this years swap Yosemitesa, its been great.

Finished tagging the quilt last night. Got the box and the tape. Sent the emails to confirm. Just waiting on someone to tell me to send.

I was like a kid on the 24th of Dec. Could not wait to open it. I know she will get her's tomorrow.
I just loved it once I saw the colors and the pattern just perfect. Love stars. Great job. Ty so much Carol (crqltr) for putting the thoughts and effort into it. Pictures to follow. This was so much fun.

I just finished mine today and sent off notifications. I like it and am excited about it but I am also a bit nervous. I just hope my partner likes it.

I literally had to compose myself before I showed all of you these pics. I have never been so happy with a swap than I am right now, fabulous colors, perfect piecing, wonderful quilting and the soft and yummy minky backing. Plus the hand made soaps which I love and have a hard time finding here.
I just can't thank her enough, I absolutely love love love this quilt. Thank you again Kristine, many many times.

I am ready to mail this weekend, just waiting to hear back from my partner. Need to know if she wants me to wash it or not. I used spray basting-does that need to be washed or can it be left alone???

I always wash when I spray baste but I am not sure if you have to. Maybe discus it with your partner?

I received my quilt from TheMamaHauser yesterday. It is simply incredible and I love it! The batteries are dead in my camera so pics will have to wait for some fresh batteries.

Mamawalsh received my quilt today, she says it's perfect but not as perfect and beautiful as I've seen on this thread. Ya'll have done some stunning jobs. I wish I could afford to have my quilts professionally quilted. I hand quilted Mamawalshes since i'm more confident with that. She will be mailing mine next week. Can't wait to open it and show it off.

i applaude you for hand quilting it. It is not easy to hand quilt a quilt. I know i done it and realized i need 5 clones of me or 200 years of life to get any quilts done. That is why i appreciate hand quilted quilts. We all have our own comfort zone and i am sure you did a marvelous job.
