Ok, I cut all my pieces for the second set, laid them all out and found that I am five 4.5 squares short for two blocks. Quilt store is closed today, so have to go tomorrow and get the fabric, finish the last two blocks and then will mail on Wednesday. They look beautiful, worth the wait. Will still be ahead of the cut off date. Should only take two days to get to CA.

Just a few more days before we receive our blocks :thumbup: waiting patiently to see what colors come my way. I pretty much know what I'm going to do with my blocks. Anyone else excited? :P

I am. I am going to put all 24 on point and then applique small leaves in a black border and set all around. I may do a couple of smaller versions of the maple leaf in the corners just to add the last punch. Will hang on my wall going down my stairs.

I didn't join this swap but am as anxious as anyone to see all your completed projects. Hope to practie my leaves and then join a future leaf swap.:-)

For an adventure, I sent the lovely daughter to quilt shop yesterday to get the fabric she picked up for me last week, was 4.5" short. Yesterday she came home with wrong stuff so had to send her today. The ladies just love me ya know. During lunch at work finished the last two blocks, was missing five 4.5" squares, and mailed them off today. They should be to you bookworm by Friday no later than Saturday. Whew, met another deadline and did what I wanted, 2 sets. Looking forward to some very pretty blocks.

Ooops, forgot to photo. Sorry everyone now you have to wait for the surprise. I already have the envelope sealed and everything.

Just checked, my blocks should be to you on Friday the 9th. Thanks for letting me get that last set done. Have the design wall out now and ready to set them on it.

Just finished them up and will try to get them in the mail tomorrow!
