OOps, I don't think I sent a PM to thank my swappers......I am bad, I posted a picture and thank them on the board, I will go back and sent a personal message. This is my first time in the swap. I will remember this for the future. thank you for the reminder. |

I don't think I posted earlier in the week when I received from Nancy W. I have been battling shingles. My hands, feet and bottom have had the worst! Thank you Nancy W!!! I love them.

my board friend Krystyna hosts the doll quilt swap each month and May is crazy quilt month....LOVE crazy quilts!! If you haven't tried a doll quilt, May is a great time to start with the crazy quilts:thumbup:

I will be going over to this shop Fabric Fanatics on Saturday for the batik block swap to get me some lighter colored batiks. I found them when I was at the Dallas Quilt show last month. I also need to get a wide backing for my purple gumball quilt I made. I am so excited to have this close to me.
I can't go during the week as they close before I get off work. I loved everything I have seen of theirs. |
I will check it out on butterflies also. If I find some I will take pictures and see what everyone thinks then I guess you can place orders.

Hello and Happy Spring, just wondering when the next months swap will be posted? I am not on the board every day these days and don't want to miss another one. I am heading to the states on Mother day wknd and want to purchase and mail that weekend. Any hints yet for the theme? (huh? huh? ) lol ;-)

on another note there is this quilt shop (an hour away) that has a pretty nice sale section 3.50 a yard picked up some kaffe fasset and other quality fabrics there. They trick you however.you have to go right by the batiks to get there. like they are right behind you. Now who is not going to stop to look at those lovely 12.95 a yard fabrics. nope not buying any nope just going to look at the sale wall but wait I do "NEED" a water blue batik just maybe a 1/3 a yrd and wait that is such a pretty green with leaves on it one.. maybe just a.. before you know it I have bought 69.00 worth of stuff and forgot all about that sale wall. I think that is terrible. they should have like the threads in front of it or something so I am not even tempted to get anything else. Now that should be illegal. |

I received a beautiful package of batiks from Linda in South Dakota, I don't have her screen name to thank her, but thank you and green is my favorite color. I had to edit the picture so you wouldn't be able to see my tropical table runner I am making for a swap.
