Please use 100% pre-washed cotton (required) and make sure your blocks measure 12 ½" unfinished. Select fabrics that will hold up to a lot of love, wear, tears, draggin', cuddlin', washing, and trips through the dryer. Fabrics that fray easily, or are fairly easy to see through are not good candidates for this swap.

For a sample of the way your block should look, see this pattern: http://quilterscache.com/A/ArrowheadPuzzleBlock.html

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern uses a scant quarter inch in its directions.

When you look at the pattern you will see three colors: Cream, Red and Black. You can use any red for those blocks that you wish, red on red design, red with a little color, but those squares must be red.

The other colors will have a sky/space theme to them. (planets, sky, clouds, stars, etc).

Make 12 blocks alike, you will receive one of yours back and 11 different blocks. This is so you receive blocks that coordinate best with yours.

Please mark EACH ONE of your blocks with a little slip of paper pinned to each block, or a sticky label can be used, please put the label on the back as sometimes some of the 'sticky' adheres to the block itself. Or you may write in somewhere that it will not bleed through with a permanent thin pigma pen. Please include your real name AND Board name.

Send them to me along with an ADDRESSED RETURN Flat Rate Stamped envelope ($4.95) for returning blocks. No other return method will be accepted.

Sign-up will close on SUNDAY APRIL 23rd, PM me if you wish to join.

Blocks due to me by THURSDAY MAY 3RD. Please plan mailing accordingly!! Because of problems with the deadlines in other swaps, if there is going to be a problem with having them here by May 3, please pm me. You also have the option of dropping out of the swap. Any blocks received after May 3rd will not be accepted and will be returned to you. There is plenty of time to sign up, and complete the blocks. It is not fair for those who do honor the deadline to be waiting and waiting and waiting.

Please review the rules that apply to all swaps. They apply to this swap, too. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-20154-1.htm

Please note, in particular, the rules for mailing and those regarding swappers who fail to fulfill their swap obligations.

If you want to make multiple sets, just make sure you have 12 blocks of each SET design. You will receive back as many sets as you send. The flat rate envelope will hold two sets. Any more than that, you will need another flat rate return addressed stamped envelope.

Keep in mind that the red in the pattern must stay red.
