A theme I was thinking of Celestial... could be, stars, moon, sun, etc... see on pinterest fun some ideas. Fall theme would also be good. A Birthday Celebration/greeting ...we all have one.

Hi all,
Thank you all for the compliments on the elephant for Crqltr. Truth is the floppy ear came about because it wasn't until after I had the elephant block completed that I noticed the fabric I used for the pp ear had a design on it that fell in the wrong spot. It would have looked odd when I added the intended bead for the eye. So I just made another ear with a front and back, turned it right side out, picked the seam for the ear, popped the new one in and called her 'issue resolved'. sewbizgirl, the pattern for the elephant comes from the book A Quilter's Ark, by Margaret Rolfe, more than 50 designs for paper piecing. Whigrose, your elephant is adorable, love the creativity you chose for dealing with the ear! I have the book A Quilters Ark, her designs are just incredible.
My partner received her mug rug yesterday, just waiting to hear from her. Jan |
Whigrose that is a cute elephant. !! I've never done paper piecing. So this is an encouragement to try!
