Sign off and get some sleep now then. Sorry to hear about the hospital visits again.

HUGS.

lindyline 08-31-2011 02:26 PM

Thanks Bonni. A quick update on
Josie before I head back to hospital. They think she has gallstones, and she's a tiny 28 year old, very fit, not an ounce of fat. Have to do ultrasounds this morning and decide what to do. Was still at ER when I posted, left there about 3 hours later.I'm feeling better after a few hours sleep and a coffee.
Time to find some handsewing.Lots of waiting.
Have a great day all.

dream56 08-31-2011 04:39 PM

Keeping Josie in my prayers for speedy recovery. Hope everything is going well.

This is for my swap buddy. We decided to swap 12.5 inch blocks. I am so excited to find out if this is what she had in mind. This was a lot of fun!!

BonniFeltz 09-05-2011 12:28 PM

Nicely done! I don't know who your partner is but I'm sure she will enjoy them. If it's ConnieQuilts I know you'll enjoy yours because I've seen the layout of them. hehehehe

LisaGibbs 09-05-2011 12:36 PM

that is right, do you think she will like these?? I have been stressing over it.

You have nothing to stress over. Those are delightful blocks. If it makes you feel any better.... (looks right and left to see if Connie is listening)....she has been stressing over the blocks for you too. :) She is going to love those fabrics and those blocks.

I don't think either one of you have anything to worry about.

Conniequilts 09-06-2011 06:19 AM

Let me relieve your stress. I LOVE THEM. They are absolutely beautiful. Kudos to you for doing the card trick block. On my list of ones to try but haven't gotten there yet.

Bonni is right, I have been stressing over yours as well. I do hope you like them. I will be sewing them up on Thursday. I got them cut and layed out over the weekend but didn't have time to sew them.

"Please make sure your trays are in the upright position."

lindyline 09-06-2011 07:09 PM

Here at work we've dcidd you're making me an airplane.
Or a ticket??

dream56 09-06-2011 07:23 PM

Hey Lindy - how is Josie doing?

lindyline 09-06-2011 07:48 PM

LOL. You are partially right. A plane is involved. At least that is the theory behind it. Like you said...if only I can get it to work right. LOL.

I have one of my partner's blocks done. I'm not going to be as nice as her and post a pic of it. Here's a corner. A blurry corner. Getting to close doesn't help :(

Getting too close is marvelous....for a sneak peek. :) Your blocks turned out nice Connie. I know your partner is going to like them.

TiltedEars 09-07-2011 08:13 AM

The UPS man has the fabric for my project as we speak. He will leave it for me later today. It might just be a late night! Can't wait to see the fabric & prepare to transform it into a fun gift for my partner!

Conniequilts 09-09-2011 11:07 AM

Thank you to Bonni who graciously mailed my blocks to my swap partner today!

Always glad to help. Hey Lindyline.....

this weekend I am work on your wall hanging. The center is done (sort of) and this weekend I am working on the border opertions. I have three two options to choose from, depending on if the fabric I have on hand will go with the fabric I used in the top. :)

lindyline 09-09-2011 01:12 PM

Hello Bonni, well as usual life did not go according to plan. Did not get anything done with your dragon. Instead spent 2 days at work. This weekend, we have a skip to get rid of the junk, so that rules the weekend out. Hoping to get to him/her Monday.

Don't worry about it Lindyline! It will be there when you get to him. I'm not worried. I'm just in awe that you would take one on. (grins).

HUGGSES.

Here is a little beauty that made me speechless when I opened the package. The little Divas are adorable. Thank you so much Fromzstore. I am putting the finishing touches on yours and will be in the mail later in the week. Thanks again.

I LOVE it,Lucky you...

BonniFeltz 09-12-2011 02:55 PM

Isn't that adorable! That reminds me to get back to working on Lindyline's. LOL. Fabric should be dry by now. Perhaps tonight will be ironing it.

dream56 09-12-2011 05:31 PM

Love the red hatters!!!!!!

immemother 09-12-2011 06:59 PM

My question is a little odd, and Lindyline you might be able to help with the answer. Is it ok to send insul-bright in international post?

Can't see why not , maybe check at the PO, but then you'll need to know what it's made from.

Hey Lindyline....Ready for one of your last clues to your project? Here it is....

lindyline 09-13-2011 03:51 PM

Hmmm looks like a globe map of the world!!

BonniFeltz 09-13-2011 03:53 PM

You are so smart. Now that you have the pieces of the puzzle put together, I don't have to send it right? I mean you already know what it will look like. LOL....

lindyline 09-13-2011 05:08 PM

Ha ha!!!

Conniequilts 09-14-2011 03:50 AM

Lindyline - I can tell you, it's going to be great. I have been getting to see a lot more of it :) if Bonni stays with what she is doing, you may NOT get it. Bonni keeps forgetting I have a key to her place :)

BonniFeltz 09-14-2011 04:29 AM

Yeah, well I had a frustrating night of it last night. It was NOT cooperating. I ALMOST have it figured out but am not happy with it. It will be ok but you know how you see it in your mind one way and then you find out it won't work out that way and it won't work out the next way and then...... I am close to coming to an neutral middle line with it though. I'll be sending you more pictures Connie this morning to brainstorm.

BonniFeltz 09-14-2011 04:31 AM

PS: I don't have to worry about Connie coming in my apartment. She wouldn't make it half way through before she turned around and ran for her life. It's too messy for her right now.....especially after fighting with fabric. (Ha! Bonni 1 - Fabric 0....*I* could walk away after the fight...fabric is still whimpering in its corner, and on the floor, and over the couch, and over the ironing board....)
