Donna, your quilt looks so lovely! I love that you stayed with the black and whites....I wish I would have done that. I only have the top done and still need to sandwich and quilt it.

Dojo I love that you added the red. It makes the whole quilt.
And you also labeled every block!!
What a great momento

Sorry.  I mixed two b&w's -- I had just looked at the link to (?)Ellen's quilt.

I ended up using a red in my, too, but it is a burgundy. My DH had suggest a brighter one like you have.....but of course, I had to do things my own way! Turns out that the burgundy seems too dark.

thanks yall, and yes my sister's turned out pretty too, and her bed is a full-size. i think i'll use turquoise in the other one kinda on the same pattern.

Oh, Wow - you both have done great jobs! What a talented pair you are!!
(and what a thrill to see one of my blocks in each of your beautiful quilts :D ). Congratulations on completing such a gorgeous project.
Applause for you both!!!!

I love looking at the finished projects and the great results you've gotten. They are lovely.

I like the red with the black & white AND that you've embroidered the names of the swappers on the blocks. Great memory of such a fun swap!

donna

I was just trying to determine if I wanted to put all 24 blocks of mine in one quilt for hubby to use in his chair or not :D :D But that size might work -- I'll have to measure him when he's all laid back    (Thanks!)

That is sooo funny sewjoyce!!LOL I love your finished product Donna...mine is tucked away...for later:)LOL Skeat
